Punk: Attitude is a documentary on the history of punk rock in the USA and UK. The film traces the different styles of punk from their roots in 60s garage and psychedelic bands (Count Five, the Stooges) through glam-punk (New York Dolls) to the 70s New York and London scenes and into the hardcore present. Interviews with many of the musicians are edited with live clips and historical footage.

@ViviViolent I am sorry Bro but honestly you kind of downed it a bit. The way i was growing up hearing the Teenage Shutdown and the garage days, punk isnt about magazines, lifestyles, or apperance. Punk is nothing more than a belief, and thats why they went hardcore in a 1 minute song to get that message through, look at Sham 69 back in the day, Rip Off, enough said. AND THOSE GUYS DID IT WEARING NOTHING BUT POOR ENGLISH CLOTHS and they were more punk because of the shyt they said.

@ 60's Garage is just as a very important influence! But the Soul of Punk was born when Hilly Kristal opened the doors for that sound, that gave this empty phrase"PUNK" a voice and a heart."Punk changed the whole world and became and will stay the world's biggest and strongest subculture movement, supported by freaks all over the world, united through the voice, the heart and the soul of Punk: Music!

@SixtiesGarageTube e has WOW!how bigoted and arrogant is that!Who are you, to write this bullshit? Stooges, MC 5 and especially New York Dolls, the Ramones, Blondie and Legs McNeill, founder of the legendary "PUNK-Magazine, gave the whole thing name, a lifestyle and a soul. The history of "PUNK" founded it's roots in New York City and the legendary CBGBs club and owner Hilly Kristal.
