I think he'll do well as the new Stratovarius guitar player. I don't doubt his ability to get their songs down, but I do worry about his writing ability from the other videos I've seen. I guess I'll just wait and see. It will be neat finally getting an album written mostly by Kotipelto, Johansson, and the rest of the "other guys". Maybe Matias' presence will force them to become a little more prog influenced!??

If my memory serves me right it was about 3 days for the arranging/composing/transcribing process and a week for practicing the piece and while Matias practiced the backing tracks were done.

That was really incredible, he shred all those songs in great harmony, he should have put really a long time to get that all together working perfectly!I'd rate better but, 5/5!! |
