I think that they wrote the part differently for her and that was the difference. Coming from GH, her character was very different from PSM's Fallon. I wonder if they changed Fallon to make it easier for Emma's daytime following to accept her on Dynasty- vs worrying about how Dynasty viewers would accept her. By season 9 of Dynasty, Emma's Fallon was much more fiesty.

Surprisingly the Colby's had a higher quality of writing than Dynsaty during the same time. I do think part of the lack of success for the Colby's was the casting of Emma. She just couldn't make the character her own, no matter how the writers and she tried it just didn't happen. It was a huge mistake to have her intro in the opening credits the same as Pam's. It only encouraged the comparisions. As good as she was Emma was totally wrong for the part.

yeah u would think so. it was just an over sight on the part of the writers. but yeah sable and her sister are first cousins with alexis & her sister. their mothers were sisters

Stable and Alexis were cousins?Boy I missed alot.I knew the two use to be dearest(best) friends.Funny I sure thought the Colbys would know the children of Blake Carrington. Not to mention wouldn't they have a picture of Fallon from newspapers and the news.

Apparently Joan Collins refused to appear on The Colbys since it was only a spin-off. A later plot caled for Alexis and Jeff to play a scene together but John James had to appear on Dynasty to do it..
