How about buying a house, doing the ronovation, renting the basement. You tool, its an asset. Buy it in this type of economy at low price, and fix it. Cheaper then rent.Do you live in a box ?TRUMP buys assests with liabilities.with the "rich" section. you like randomly started drawing from assets. Was this box free ?lol.

The problem I have with this is: I must own a car. I drive 2500 miles permonth and gas is even an issue when driving that many miles. I own a home because I did not want to make someone else rich and pay into something that can potentially be sold at a profit, which means a mortgage and all the other expenses that go wth it. I have a new born child, more cash out of pocket. I do not have room for investing. Do I take out a loan? Does my investment flop? I think many people come from old money.
